I drove my ‘73 Buick through the salty slushy crap today. It makes me cringe the whole time. On a good note, the car I’ve been busy motor swapping should be running tonight, so I can have my regular car back (currently on loan to the engine-swap-ee). Hopefully it warms up enough for me to get the hose out soon so I can de-salt the ‘73!

Yeah I had it out Sunday to try to clean the rust off the rims on my wife’s car (worn out pad grinding for 2 weeks made a living hell out of the wheel!). In other news, how the hell does anyone let their wife drive around for 2 weeks with grinding brakes? I replaced the offending brakes on Sunday, on Monday evening while we were eating dinner our neighbor stopped by to let us know how horrible her car sounded (before) and that we should get it looked at...
